The New Urban Tribes (part 1)

As you know, our society has been changing and our world society is now a mix of cultures and different people. Because of that, independent groups have appeared. They share customs, behaviours, clothes, wishes and thoughts. Shall we go and meet them?
First we have the SARAHS. This symbol means being single, rich and happy. In fact, these women’s idea of happiness doesn’t depend on having a boyfriend. Men are completely unnecessary for them. The majority of them work as magazine editors, fashion promoters, directors of banks or big companies. Because they are truly successful at work, they travel a lot and they know the most important capitals in the world. But apart from that, every weekend Sarahs spend their time in pubs and big dinners with their friends and colleagues. Spas are their favourite refuge and they also love having yoga classes. This seems to be good. But if you are not rich or if you have a boyfriend, you can’t be a Sarah.
Maybe you are a Metropolitan woman. METROPOLITANS are young and single women or men who treat fashion as a culture. They want to be different from all of the others and show their creativity in clothes and even in the way they think. Dogs are their mascots. Sometimes their names are found on the waiting list to purchase a bag or a piece of art that is in the shops only at a specific time of the year. Sincerity leads their personality and they don’t care about what the others think about their clothes or their behaviour.
Haven’t you found your tribe yet? Don’t worry, next week I’ll present you some more!
