School Trip to RTP Studios

Yesterday, my class and I went to RTP in Gaia. It was a great opportunity to see and understand how a TV channel works.
Our group had 19 students and 3 teachers, so the trip by metro was quite an adventure...

When we got to RTP what immediately called our attention were the beautiful vertical gardens! Wow!

As for the building, it is obviously smaller than the Lisbon one, but it looks modern.
There were a lot of people working there, and even though everyone was really focused and busy, they were nice to us.

But how did this adventure start? Well, a few months ago I came up with the idea of this school trip and suggested it to our director, who loved it. We put the idea into practice and I helped to prepare it. To be honest, before the day came I felt a bit nervous... 

However, we were very lucky, because my aunt Sandra Sousa, who is a journalist there, guided us through the visit. She explained everything, showed us lots of rooms and devices and we even participated in some activities.  
In my opinion, the most important part of the visit was so see the engineering room (régie in Portuguese).

In the end, we went to "Hard Rock Café" and "Starbucks".
In Starbucks some of my friends ordered "Caramel Frappucino" but I prefered to try "Sweet Corn Frappuccino". It was de-li-ci-ous!! I also bought some souveniers.

Since the whole activity had my help, I felt really proud in the end, because all my colleagues had fun and everything went as planned.

Pausa da Páscoa

E porque as férias também são muito, muito importantes, comemoramos a pausa da Páscoa com jogos e diversão.

O nosso tabuleiro de jogos gigante "Snakes and Ladders" é já uma preferência dos alunos e não podia faltar.

Alguns não perderam a oportunidade de disputar os tradicionais jogos com dados ou com cartas, que nos acompanharam também nos intervalos durante o 2º período.
